The Big Seventeen
Why is blogging once a week so hard for me? It is a simple assignment, yet it is very hard for me to keep up with, as it is for many others. In my case, I think it is not only my procrastination that I've been struggling with since I was 6, but for the fact we are not graded once a week. These on going assignments that are only checked in bulk are for some reason very, very hard for me too keep up with. I always find myself procrastinating until the end. I mean, I try to sit down once a week to write, but for some reason whenever I do, unless if its at the last minute, I have writers block so I just say to myself, I'll make up for it next week. Seriously, what is my problem? I really hope that next semester I'll be able to stay on top of this blog once a week instead of waiting, but the damn procrastination refuses to leave me, no matter how hard I try not to procrastinate.

I have to agree with you that assignments when you aren't graded after every week are harder to work on and complete on time because you just know that you're not being graded right away or on a consistent basis so it is harder to get motivated.
I've had trouble keeping up with blogs over this semester as well. Your comment about writer's block is so true! I sit down and I absolutely can't think of anything to say. But once it's crunch time I don't have trouble thinking of what to blog about! Why is that?
I hear you guys, but I think if you looked at it less as an assignment and more of an opportunity: a safe place to express your opinions, perhaps it would flow more naturally.
We're hoping to provide you with more access to computers this upcoming semester -- hopefully that will help a bit.
you've been struggling with procrastination since you were six? thats pretty rough. need some help?
